Kevin Gonzalez is currently a pitcher on the JV baseball team but is working tirelessly on his skills in order to move up to the varsity level for the 2012-2013 school year. Kevin is participating in a high school summer baseball league set up by coach Phil Wisser to help the boys improve and work on their game all summer long. “I enjoy the competition of the game,” Kevin said when asked why he would devote his summer to playing baseball. On June 21, 2012, the team played Hardball Academy and won 3-1. Kevin was proud of the win and says he looks forward to playing more teams this summer after playing a nearly undefeated fall season with the JV team this past year.

Coach Phil Wisser says that the boys will be playing nearly every Tuesday and Thursday this summer and Kevin will be among them, working harder to improve his game each day.
