Financial Literacy Challenge
Bank of America, in partnership with Commissioner Raquel Regalado’s office, is hosting a one day workshop to participate in a free financial literacy challenge.
In this simulation, you will experience the life of a college student attending classes and working for 18 months. Through this game, you will learn essential skills for managing expenses and more.

Schedule of events:
- 8:30 a.m. – arrival and registration
- 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – game session
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – lunch (complimentary for all participants)
- 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – game session
- 4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. – conclusion
Event details:
- Students: Grades 7-12 (limited seating)
- Participants budget the life of a student in college with a job
- All participants will receive 10 community service hours and certificate of completion
Cash prizes for winners.
1st place – $100
2nd place – $50
