Janette & Co. Macarons Galore
Sep 22, 2017
Right across the Hillstone restaurant lies a quaint shop that hides a Parisian heaven. Janette & Co. Macaron and French Pastries offers a gateway to the French paradise of sugary pastries. It serves up delectable treats that please both the eyes and the taste buds of its beholder. Offering a multitude of colorful macarons and luxury chocolates, the shop stands out in the midst of the busy streets of Miracle Mile. As the customer immerses the crackling yet velvety mini sandwich in their mouth, they truly wonder why they did not try this dessert before.
“It’s really amazing to see customer’s faces when they try our products. It brings a smile to my face to see customers enjoy these snacks,” worker Elana Rodriguez said.
In addition to selling macarons and chocolates, the shop offers chocolate and coffee, creating a harmonic blend of sweet and bitter flavors. The luxurious chocolates are from the Norman Love Chocolate Collections, an independent brand based in Ft. Myers that partnered with Janette & Co. There are 25 flavors, including peanut butter and jelly, passion panna-cotta and cherry cordial truffle, divided into three categories: milk chocolate, white chocolate and truffles.
This patisserie also gives its customers a spot to eat and relax. In this boutique, they can pick from the 30 available macaron flavors. These include popular flavors such as Lemon, Pistachio and Raspberry along with Mojito Fresh Mint, Coconut White Chocolate and Rose Petal Cream.
The quality sweets come at a fair price, costing $2.75 per macaron. The most costly item on the menu is the large macaron Eiffel Tower, which comes with 43 macarons and has an overall value of $132.42. In addition, two chocolates are $6.75 and a box of 50 chocolates is $125. However, the sweet taste of the freshly made treats paired with the Parisian feel of Janette & Co. are worth the price.
All these products are officially sponsored by Uber Eats and Postmates, making it reliable, quick and easy to access. Though their main branch is in Miracle Mile, Janette & Co. also has a shop open at Sunset, located in between Margaux, the furniture store, and Edward Beiner, the glasses shop, across from Sunset Place. Janette & Co. stays an attraction to Miami’s locals as it offers a taste far away from home, from the heart of Paris.
