Six Stands Showcased at The 60th Annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival

"By coming to this festival I hope to get my work in front of a bunch of new people and meet new customers. I also hope to meet other artists and talk to them about art shows going on around the country, which is how I heard about this one, as well as, getting inspiration from them," Chelsea Bird said.

"By coming here I really enjoy seeing the responses to my art, so much of what I do is on my own, in my studio and its art that feels food to me but, seeing people's reactions to it fuels me. I cant tell you how many times people stopped in and said that my work makes them feel happy, which is really validating as an artist. Then some people chose to purchase and bring my art home, which is really such an honor, to live in someone's space with them," Amy Leigh Carstensen said.

"By coming here I hope to make new friends, I hope to find a client-base and I also hope to get to sell some of my wearable artworks. I hope to see my clients feel happy and confident in what I make," Annie Bisone said.

Based in Ann Arbor, Mi.

"My ultimate goal in coming to this festival is to sell my artworks, whether it's through commissions or sales. Getting my artwork in peoples' houses is for sure the highlight to coming to these festivals," Cherie Hamey said.
