Diana Galiano is a senior and a proud Cavalier at Coral Gables Sr. High. Ever since she started high school she has taken on the opportunity to be greatly involved in extra curriculum activities at school. During her sophomore year, Diana was introduced to the school’s Communication, Art, Film and Digital Media Academy and has become an active member within the CAF&DM academy. Since joining the academy Diana has become president of GablesLive! the school’s TV Production program, Vice President of Quill & Scroll (Journalism Honor Society) and has also become Features Editor for the schools online news site CavsConnect. Aside from being so involved in the CAF&DM Academy, Diana is also part of other clubs such as the National Honor Society and the English Honor Society. As a child she was fascinated by the literary world that school provided. Although math might be a weakness of hers she still has a strong love for Literature and History.  Her goal is to expand her knowledge of the world. She might not know what she wants to be in life but she does know she wants to do something that will make a difference in the world. In her spare Diana volunteers her time with numerous organizations such as the Salvation Army devoting her time in giving back to the community. Aside from volunteering, Diana enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Diana aspires to one day get accepted into Florida State University where she will pursue a career in the public relations field.
