On September 6 and 7, 2012, students, teachers, and staff had to look their best for their annual ID picture. The event took a lot of preparation from the Yearbook staff who diligently organized names, classrooms, and English teachers prior to this date and narrowed down any room for mistakes. The days started as early as 6:00am with teachers coming to the auditorium looking elegant and sharp to take their pictures, and ending almost after the last bell rang at 2:20pm when the team would pack up for the next day.
Mrs. Zuniga, the academy leader and yearbook advisor, made sure that this task was done with excellence as she supervised every position, need, and function presented throughout the auditorium. It was two days of intense work and organization, but that didn’t mean that the staff members couldn’t have fun as they danced and sang along with the viral Korean music video known as “Gangnam Style.” At the end of the day, the mission was accomplished. Although there were tired legs, drained bodies, and hungry stomachs, another successful round of underclassmen picture days was accomplished.
