Mateo Blaschke, CavsConnect Video/Podcast Editor
Mateo Blaschke is a junior in the International Baccalaureate Program, and this is his first year in CavsConnect, after working last year with CavsTV. He is the Video Editor as well as the Podcast Editor. In the future, Mateo looks forward to continuing to be involved in the school by attending sports games, pep rallies and other school activities. He is also part of the boys varsity soccer team and wishes to continue playing until he graduates. He boasts about the importance of balance in people's lives and even though it can be hard at times, he always tries his best to keep his academic and athletic life very balanced. During his free time, you can usually find Mateo playing soccer, biking around the city and hanging out with friends. Mateo really loves to travel around the world because he finds it interesting how countries around the world differ culturally.
Aidan Remedios, CavsConnect Staff Member
Aidan Remedios is a junior in the International Baccalaureate Program. This is his second year with CavsConnect, and he is extremely excited to be part of this publication. Born in India, Aidan moved to Miami in 2022. He loves music and is a certified Grade 8 pianist by the London College of Music. Currently, he is working towards completing his piano diploma and also produces music, which is available on multiple streaming platforms. Besides music, Aidan keeps fit by playing badminton, in which he placed third in the GMAC last year, as well as going to the gym and practicing calisthenics. His hobbies include watching football and supporting England and Manchester United. Aidan hopes to excel in school and in other extracurricular aspects of his life this year.
Lauren Kaler, CavsTV Video Editor
Lauren Kaler is a sophomore in the International Baccalaureate Program at Coral Gables Senior High. As a second-year member of CavsTV, she is also video editor along with Olivia Russo. Through this position she is able to share her love for videography with the staff. CavsTV has been a special experience for Lauren as it has given her a community within the school to do what she loves with. Outside of CavsTV, Lauren is on the swimming team, water polo team, and various clubs. In her free time she loves to cook, spend time with her family, and travel to new places!
