Once a year teachers welcome ‘students’ into their classrooms, inviting them to sit down and enjoy the lecture. But for this annual occasion, parents get to play the role of students, searching for their children’s next class, and worrying about being late. Open House allows parents to be in contact with their child’s teachers and learn about the classes their child is taking. The teachers inform the pupils of the upcoming academic year and what it will consist of.
Gables Open House will occur on September 29th at 6:00pm. Parents will report to their child’s first period and proceed to attend each of the classes in numeric order. In the media center from 5:00pm to 6:00pm parent’s can receive their pin numbers for the portal (which allows parents to check their child’s grades, test scores, etc.) and lunch applications upon request.
