According to BBC, on May 18, a gang war broke out in a shopping district in Waco, Texas, which left nine dead and 18 others injured. One policeman described the fist fight gone wrong as a “war zone”, filled with knives and guns. The breakout lead to 107 people being faced with organized crime charges. Five rival gangs are expected to be involved in the fighting. Multiple law enforcement agents are explaining it as the worst gun fight they had seen in their careers. Many of the gang members opened fire at the police. The police have increased security around the entire area.
