Sunday, June 5, 2016, the first annual Javi Perez Road to Recovery 5K Run will be held at at Amelia Earhart Park. Registration will begin at 7:00 AM and the run will start at 8:00 AM.

Preceding the run there will be carnival-esque activities such as food trucks, a wall brawl, a silent auction, and other entertainment.

T-shirts are guaranteed for those participants who pre-register online (to register click here) and a limited number of t-shirts are available for those who register on race day.  The registration fee for runners under 17 is $15 and for runners 18 and older $35. The fee includes the t-shirt and medals for race finishers.

100% of net proceeds will be donated to cover medical and recovery bills for Perez and his family. Runners are encouraged to wear a bow tie in support of Perez.
