On April 17, 2015, the first official trailer for Batman V. Superman Dawn of Justice launched. Unfortunately, the release did not go as planned, as it was supposed to be shown on Monday, April 20, but a pirated copy forced Warner Brothers to release the trailer early. The trailer begins with what sounds like a news reporter speaking about Superman’s position on the planet. A statue appears with the camera slowly zooming in towards it, and now multiple voices speak on whether Superman should leave or stay. Finally, the statue is revealed to be Superman with “False God” written across his chest and crowds chanting, “Go home!” Cut to another voice talking about how “powerlessness turns men cruel.” Batman and the Batsuit are shown, followed by multiple shots of Batman staring into the distance. Batman and Superman are shown together, the camera zooms in on Batman, who says, “Tell me… do you bleed?” Superman lands across from Batman; the screen goes black and the only thing you hear is, “You will…”

“I don’t really enjoy these kinds of movies, but this trailer is just amazing, and this goes without saying, but the last scene is awesome,” freshman Nico Madero said.

It is already proven, just from this trailer, that this movie is going to be a big deal. So if you want my opinion, see the movie; I have a feeling it’s going to be 2-3 hours of your life well spent.
