Here is George Clooney portraying Baird Whitlock.

The movie depicts the life of Eddie Mannix [Josh Brolin], a Hollywood fixer for Capital Pictures in the 1950s. His job is to preserve the clean reputation of the company and its stars by keeping them free from quarrel. Mannix finds out that the studio star Baird Whitlock [George Clooney] has disappeared. Later, he receives a call from a group of communists who claim that they kidnapped Whitlock and want a ransom of $100,000.

Viewers can expect to see a lot of great scenes with good acting. At moments, the movie can be a little bit slow and boring, but the other scenes make up for it. For instance, the audience really enjoyed Burt Gurney’s [Channing Tatum] dancing and singing scene. You can get a sneak peak of it right here.

Even though the movie has great scenes, the ending didn’t really add up with the story. However, the musical scenes were very enjoyable and amusing to watch. If you love funny musicals that take place in older times, this film will be very engaging.

“I’m kind of excited for the movie. It looks really good in the trailers and I love George Clooney,” freshman Adrian Ramos said.

Overall, Hail, Caesar! is a good movie with a few good laughs. This film might not be for everyone, but it’s definitely worth giving it a shot. The Coen brothers have done it again with a funny and exciting movie! Make sure to catch the movie on Feb.5.
