“I personally enjoyed Usher’s performance, because it felt like a throwback to the 90s,” junior Mia McLean said.

Usher and the legendary Alicia Keys joined forces for an unforgettable duet of “My Boo” that had fans on their feet, cheering for more. Their electrifying onstage presence left a lasting impression on viewers worldwide, even at home.

Usher commanded the audience’s attention through his soulful vocals and energetic dance moves. A standout moment of the performance occurred when Usher graced the stage wearing roller-skates, surrounded by backup skating dancers, delivering a spirited and high-energy rendition of “OMG”.

“Honestly, I wasn’t a big fan of the half-time show, but I thought that the part where he was wearing roller skates was so cool. I can tell that he and his team put in a lot of effort into it,” junior Nina Benson said.

With an elaborate stage design reminiscent of the vibrant lights of Las Vegas and a talented troupe of dancers, he transformed the stadium into a neon-lit landscape, paying homage to the city’s iconic nightlife scene. His incorporation of elements of the entertainment industry as well as his lustrous outfits added an extra layer of authenticity to the show.

The grand finale of the performance saw Usher bringing out surprise guest appearances from some of music’s biggest icons, including Will.i.am, Ludacris and Lil Jon, who joined him on stage for an electrifying medley that had the entire stadium cheering. Their collaborative performance was a celebration of music and unity, showcasing the power of bringing together diverse talents for a common goal.

“His outfit changes were really well planned out. As the show went on, he managed to match up his outfits with the vibe of it all,” junior Melissa Sosa said.
