Originating in Liverpool, England, The Beatles are undoubtedly the most influential band of all time. Specialized in rock music, many of their songs hit the top charts, and several have stayed there. Nowadays, teens and young adults from all over the world continue to jam out to The Beatles and for good reasons; their mellow feel is iconic and has kept them above the surface for decades.
Eleanor Rigby

This song was released in 1966 and the melody was written by famous band member, Paul McCartney. Eleanor Rigby has the violin, viola and cello playing in the background, which creates an interestingly calming feel. This song has won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary (R&R) Performance, which it rightfully deserves. Eleanor Rigby is a beautifully classic song and should be on everyone’s playlist set on ‘repeat’!
Yesterday

Yesterday is a very nostalgic song, because it is not only one of The Beatles’ most famous songs ever written, but the lyrics make you also reminisce on life. With a subtle upbeat melody, Yesterday is the perfect blend of sentimental and hopeful tones, and is one classic Beatles song.
Hey Jude

Famous band member Paul McCartney wrote this song for John Lennon’s son to comfort him through his parents’ divorce. Hey Jude has optimistic lyrics with a mellow tune. Another Beatles classic, Hey Jude, is a must-have in everyone’s playlist.
With almost 200 songs in their pocket, The Beatles is one of the most iconic bands in history. Unfortunately the band broke up in 1970, but their legacy still lives on.
