Q: What’s your name, grade level, and academy?

A: My name is Alex Rabell and I am a sophomore in IB.

Q: Why did you start playing soccer and how long have you been playing?

A: I’ve been playing for about eight years and I started because a bunch of my friends and my dad introduced me to the sport.

Q: Have you won any awards?

A: Yeah, with my club team – we played in a bunch of tournament and we won a bunch of awards.

Q: Who is your favorite soccer player of all time?

A: My favorite soccer player is probably Lionel Messi.

Q: How do you like being a part of the Gables team?

A: Being a part of the Gables team is very fun. It’s a great way to make new friends and learn a lot of new things.

Q: Do you hope to play in college?

A: Yeah, it is indeed one of my goals.

Q: What position do you play and what is your jersey number?

A: I play center back defense and I’m number six.

Q: What are your hopes for the season?

A: This season, I hope we make it to states and do well.

Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?

A: Well, normally Coach gives a little motivational speech and then we get in a huddle and we motivate each other.

Q: Do you play any other sport besides soccer?

A: Yeah, I play basketball.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: Traveling and hanging out with friends, I guess.

Q: Do you have anything to say to people who might want to play soccer?

A: Well it’s a very fun sport and a really good way to make friends.
