On Friday afternoon, May 25, senior Christian Brown officially signed a letter of commitment to Manhattanville College, where he will continue his education and basketball career beyond high school. Surrounded by a swarm of friends, coaches and teachers, the teary-eyed basketball captain took the offer with much pleasure and gratitude. Following his signing, he was bombarded by his loving audience, begging to have one final memory with Brown as he bids his final farewells to Coral Gables Senior High School. An emotional signing for certain, Brown credits his family and friends as his drive and “backbone” in everything he does.

“I’m so excited to go to college. When my older brother went off to college and got a commitment for basketball he told me not to worry and that my time will come too. I’m really glad that time came,” senior Christian Brown stated.

As the school year comes to a close, Brown will travel to the outskirts of New York City, where he will take his athletic talents to collegiate levels. Make sure to wish Chris Brown luck as he journeys into college and continues his basketball career!
