Ariana Alvarez, CavsConnect Staff Writer
Ariana Alvarez is a rising sophomore in the International Baccalaureate program. This is her second year in CavsConnect and she desires to meet new people, create new bonds and improve her writing skills this year. She is a very talented soccer player and plays a defensive position on the Coral Gables Senior High Girls Varsity soccer team. Outside of school, Alvarez loves to travel. She has visited a variety of places all over the country and world including California, Wyoming, England and Scotland! Some of her favorite pastimes are playing soccer for the U16 Miami Springs soccer team, cooking and baking. Alvarez is currently the treasurer of the Sophomore Student Council, and looks forward to joining the National Honors Society. She hopes to have a memorable 2020-2021 high school experience and continue playing soccer for her school and club team.
