Jacqueline Rodero, CavsConnect Staff Writer
Jacqueline Rodero is a senior in the International Baccalaureate program. This is her second year as a CavsConnect staff writer. As she closes her time at Coral Gables Senior High, she hopes to get accepted into her dream school, the University of Miami, where she would like to study neuropsychology as a career. In addition to CavsConnect, she is also part of Catharsis, International Baccalaureate Honor Society, National Honor Society, Andrea Jaime Medical Leaders and Spanish Honor Society. On the weekends, she works as an event planner for the company Pop Up and Shop Up, where she plans and sets up events for vendors to promote and sell their merchandise. When she is not stuck in her books or running around making sure vendors are selling their products, she enjoys spending time in nature, window shopping and reading books that challenge her perspective on certain topics. A prime example of a literary work she appreciates would be “Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand and its message on perseverance, courage, teamwork and faith. Even though Jacqueline is a reserved and quiet person, she is always eager to lend help or support to anyone who needs it.
