Kassandra Barreiro, also known as Kasey around school, is a Senior in the IB program at Gables. Because of her love to the Cavalier nation she chooses to be very involved in school. Along the years of her high school experience, Kasey has indulged herself into singing, acting, volunteering and studying hard. Kassandra is a proud member of Divaaz, Diamond Girls, Interact, NHS, IBHS, Gables Players and Chorus. Although it may seem like Kasey has a lot on her plate she still manages to make the grade. On her down time she enjoys sleeping, reading, and having adventures with friends. Kasey is friendly, open minded, and a hard worker. She loves kids and aspires to be a pediatrics nurse when she graduates from college. In preparation, Kasey has been volunteering at Miami Children’s. As her first year in Cavs Connect she’s extremely excited and eager for her final year at Coral Gables Senior High to be involved in such a great publication.
