Kate Kuryla, CavsConnect Staff Writer
Kate Kuryla is a freshman in the International Baccalaureate program, beginning her first year in CavsConnect. She is very eager to improve her writing and make many new friends along the way. Ever since she was a little girl, Kate has loved to write, and she now strives to share her passion with others. When she is not attending school, she enjoys traveling to new places, listening to all kinds of music and spending time with her family. In the past, she played tennis for three years, and she plans to join the tennis team at Coral Gables Senior High in the spring. Kate is not yet certain of what her future career will be, but she believes it will either involve the medical field or law studies. The one thing Kate is certain of though, is that writing will always be a part of her future. She dreams big and hopes to someday live in New York and own a cat.
