Marco Gonzalez, CavsConnect Staff Writer
Marco Gonzalez is a sophomore at Coral Gables High in the International Baccalaureate program. He works as a first-year staff writer for the CavsConnect news publication. Through CavsConnect, he hopes to not only improve his ability to cover a wide range of topics, but also become further involved in his school. Besides writing, Marco enjoys quality time with friends and spending weekends and summers sailing, a sport he has participated in since he was eight years old. He plans to carry on the sport through high school and strives to be able to sail for his future university as well. With his strong passion and knowledge of sports, Marco aspires to one day become the editor of the sports column, a topic that interests him to a level no other column can reach. In this upcoming school year, he hopes he can take strides towards these goals, as well as bettering himself each and every day.
