Camila Aitken is a senior in the International Bacalaureate program at Coral Gables Senior High. This is her second year as a highlights staff member, having joined junior year. On campus, Aitken enjoys the relaxed social nature of the school, how it offers a niche for every student. The numerous clubs and experiences make it fairly simple to fit into the Gables lifestyle. Her experience at Gables has been a positive one, as she has connected with people of similar passions, has encountered supportive teachers and has faced positive challenges throughout her classes. In the near future, Aitken aspires to study political science or Pre-Law at FIU, New College of Florida or abroad. While this is her last year on the staff, Aitken is exited to see what lies ahead and hopes to experience memorable moments throughout senior year.
