Emma Garcia is a senior in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Coral Gables Senior High. As a staff writer, she hopes to write meaningful articles that will intrigue and entertain those reading them. Emma is very excited for her senior year and hopes to make it a memorable one with all her friends. She looks forward to tackling anything this year throws at her as well. Besides her enjoyment for writing, Emma enjoys volunteering at Mercy Hospital. She hopes that being a hospital volunteer will prepare her to be a nurse practitioner later on in life. She also loves music, especially when it comes to Shawn Mendes and 5 Seconds of Summer, and she can’t wait for what they have in store for their fans. In her free time, Emma likes to watch her favorite show, Supernatural, listen to music and spend time with her family and friends. Emma is a bit shy, but once she gets to know someone, she’ll warm up to them and be her sarcastic, outgoing self.
